Balcony Pier Repairs – Highland Park

FirstService Project Management was engaged by FirstService Residential and the Board at a Highland Park Community Association to manage the repair of the masonry and railings at all 16 balconies’ tiers associated with two, four-story buildings. The scope of work included:

  • Replacing the failing piers and railings at the 4th floor level with new cast stone piers and railings
  • Masonry tuckpointing
  • Brick and stone replacement
  • Re-coating the 4th floor balcony surface

With cost savings generated by FSPM, $111,100 was returned to the association.
