FirstService Project Management was engaged by the Board of Directors for this River North Condominium Association to manage an impressive build-out of the Association’s fitness center and hospitality suite. The goal of this project was to combine the fitness center with the former hospitality suite to make a larger fitness center. The common meeting room was then converted into a new, updated hospitality suite.
After an intense pre-construction phase involving many scope-reviews, site walk-throughs, bid solicitations, budgeting, and scheduling adjustments, the FSPM team managed the project which included initial demo as well as updates to the carpentry, flooring/tile, glazing, plumbing, mechanical systems, electric, and fire safety.
FSPM worked with the Association to lower the initial costs of this large project. The Project Management team was about to include all of the Board’s additional requests and upgrades and still return $14,000 as cost savings.
